Panel Installation Guide
Every type of Spazio&Innova panel is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow the specific guide for your product.
🪵 PVC Panels
What you need
- Specific adhesive for PVC or click system (see product sheet)
- Utility knife or circular saw
- Tape measure, pencil, and spirit level
Installation
- Clean and dry the surface
- Measure and mark the application areas
- Apply adhesive evenly to the back (if not click system)
- Position the panel and press firmly
- Check with the spirit level and repeat
Tip: PVC panels tolerate minor surface irregularities, but the smoother the surface, the better the final result.
🪨 SPC Panels (Stone Plastic Composite)
Method A — Click-Lock System
What you need
- Click-lock system (included)
- Precision spirit level
- Insulating underlayment (recommended)
- 5-10mm spacers
Installation
- Check that the subfloor is level (max tolerance 3mm every 2m)
- Lay out the insulating underlayment
- Start from the corner furthest from the door
- Connect the panels using the click-lock system
- Leave 5-10mm expansion gaps at the edges
- Cover the edges with baseboards
Method B — Glued (for uneven surfaces or wall installation)
What you need
- Specific adhesive for SPC
- Notched trowel
- Spirit level and tape measure
Installation
- Clean and prepare the surface
- Spread the adhesive evenly with a notched trowel
- Position the panel and press firmly
- Check alignment with the spirit level
- Allow to dry according to the adhesive's specified times
Tip: In both cases, allow the panels to acclimatize for 24-48 hours before installation.
🔇 Sound-Absorbing Panels
What you need
- Acrylic adhesive or screws (depending on panel weight)
- Spirit level
- Drill (if screw installation)
- Tape measure and pencil
Installation
- Plan placement to maximize sound absorption (corners and reflection walls)
- Mark the fixing points on the wall
- Apply acrylic adhesive or fix with screws
- Press the panel firmly for at least 30 seconds (if using adhesive)
- Check alignment with the spirit level
Tip: For optimal results, cover at least 20-30% of the room's surface area.
